Renovation during the peak period was frightening because of all the delays and supply issues. Working with Shan Shan was great. She gave us a schedule that was followed quite closely with no major delays. She helped to check on the quality of the work and included time for touch-ups as well. There was no point where we felt like she was rushing the project to get it out of her way. She also helped to customise additional designs for a more coherent look of the house. She was prompt about replying to queries and open to discussing/assessing alternative design ideas that we wanted to bring up.

We met around 10 IDs before choosing Yong Jing (YJ) from Starry Homestead. YJ impressed us with his personality and problem-solving skills. He was proactive in setting up meetings and timelines, and we appreciated his responsiveness even during late hours. YJ’s “kiasu-ness” helped us move in within 3 months, despite a few hiccups which he promptly informed us about and managed well. YJ demonstrated high emotional intelligence throughout the process and even arranged minor touch-ups after we moved in. Compared to our friends’ renovation experiences, we are very happy with YJ and Starry Homestead.

Our original plan was to check out at least 5 ID companies before deciding. Starry Homestead was our first stop and guess what? We decided on the spot to engage Starry Homestead simply because of Yong Jing. He won us over with his warm, genius personality and professionalism. We are also impressed by his passion and dedication. He constantly provides us with regular updates on the renovation progress even after office hours and on weekends. Even after completing and handing over our flat to us, he is still willing to assist us. We are thankful and grateful to have met Yong Jing. A huge Thank You to Yong Jing, for giving us his best.

Very satisfied with the work done by my designer Si Ming. Work started in January for a 2-room flat with a clean minimalist concept. The whole designing process was meticulous and he addressed many minute details and issues with me. Various changes in ideas during the renovation phase were also accommodated where possible. Overall he is a designer who is very knowledgeable in his field of work and would be a great choice for any would be homeowners looking for an interior designer.
