Highly recommend our designer, Aaron Ng. He was the designer for our previous residence and he did such a good job that we approached him again for our current residence. He understood the hard renovation deadline imposed by the expiry of our rental lease. In addition, there were challenges posed by Covid in terms of manpower and supply of materials. By proposing workarounds and creative solutions, we managed to move in on schedule. Aaron also has a strong network of contractors’ contacts, well-supported by Starry Homestead’s in-house contractors, who have all proven to be very reliable and responsive.

Yong Jing will update me on any progress and he is very accommodating to my schedule. As of right now covid situation the renovation takes longer than usual, but Yong Jing tried to finish up before the year’s end. A very nice guy to work with, ask him anything and he will try his best to answer, if he does not have the answer he will ask the contractors for you. He is very receptive to changes and he also made some suggestions along the way that makes sense. Anybody will be lucky enough to engage him.

We particularly chose Si Han of Starry Homestead after emptying out renovation reviews online. He presented himself as a practical do-er, not the loud funky kind dressed in a swanky designer outfit. That sealed the deal. The renovation journey turns out to be bliss as expected. Si Han was on his toes, always second-guessing the things to come, and provided recommendations that fit. Work was prompt and way ahead of schedule even. Our dream home didn’t remain as a dream.

I would recommend you to engage Starry Homestead for your new home renovation as the services that they have provided are professional and comply with government rules. My ID, Yong Jing respects all our ideas throughout the discussions, and they do not hard sell their ideas as well. Although there were some delays in the midst of a renovation, our ID was able to communicate with contractors and get their help to expedite the process, as well as hand over our unit within the committed timeline.
