We engaged Zheng Sheng from Starry Homestead. He was proficient in his knowledge on HDB practices and guided us through the renovation process. He provided ideas on how to best plan the space but also took our opinions into account. We were relieved that the final outcome had good workmanship and issues that needed rectifications were promptly followed up with, even after final handover. We are very satisfied with the final result and we thank Zheng Sheng for making our home a reality.

Just finished our reno journey with Nixon and honestly, I have to give credit where it’s due. From start to end, he was super responsive. What I really appreciated was that he’s not the type to brush things under the carpet — whenever there were shortcomings, he’d own up to them and get things fixed instead of making excuses. He also took our feedback really well, never got defensive, and genuinely tried his best to accommodate our specific requests rather than just telling us it “can’t be done.” A lot of the hiccups we faced weren’t even his fault — they were more on the subcontractors’ end — but instead of pointing fingers, Nixon was quick to look into things and sort them out. That kind of accountability really goes a long way in this industry. Overall, if you’re looking for an ID who communicates well, owns up to issues, and genuinely tries to make the process smooth for you, Nixon’s a solid choice!

YJ is a reliable and steadfast partner to work with. Both my husband and I were more than adequately supported by him. He listened to our needs, aligned our needs to our tastes, and gave us advice whenever we were lost. Seeing the house transform into a cosy space suited to our preferences was a huge blessing.

Renovation process from time of engaging ID to the planning and executing was very smooth. We worked with Steven and he was very professional and efficient. He took ensured our design needs were met and was mindful of the limitations based on the space. He was also very transparent and did not over promise things that were not feasible.
