Depot Heights
The home adopts a Modern Contemporary design, subtly accented with Peranakan-inspired patterned tiles that the homeowners appreciate. These elements were intentionally restrained and used sparingly to prevent the space from feeling overpowering, resulting in a refined, minimal and elevated aesthetic. To balance differing preferences, the interior harmonises the female homeowner’s preference for a darker, moodier ambience with the male homeowner’s inclination towards brighter spaces. This was achieved by anchoring the interior with large-scale furniture in deeper tones, adding visual depth without compromising openness. The outcome is a calm and sophisticated atmosphere that feels both grounded and light. In the master bedroom, the layout was reconfigured to improve spatial flow, with a concealed door introduced to maintain a clean and cohesive visual language.
