Jurong West St 42
This design journey begins with a Modern Muji aesthetic in the living room, where a serene and clutter-free atmosphere creates an immediate sense of calm. The focal point is a TV cabinet that reimagines traditional Japanese shoji doors as functional sliding panels, gracefully gliding to reveal or conceal media, display shelving, and storage. This Japanese influence flows seamlessly into the semi-open kitchen, connected by a foldable window designed with matching wooden frames and glass. This versatile feature serves as a functional partition when closed, yet effortlessly transforms into a social bar counter and dining extension when folded open. Inside, the Modern Farmhouse style takes over, featuring cabinetry in a soothing sage green that provides a soft, organic warmth. The look is completed by black and white chequered flooring, adding a bold, graphic punch that perfectly balances the Zen-like living space with rustic, contemporary charm.
