We did a renovation of a 3-bedder in Pasir Ris and the ID we have engaged was Shirley. Our requirements are mainly for our living and working spaces and play space for 2 young kids. She took time to listen to our needs and concerns and showed a lot of patience and creativity during the proposal of design concepts. We went for a modern jap vibe and she ensured the colour scheme throughout was matching and consistent. During the project, she ensured the milestones and timeline were met and did her best to resolve the outstanding issues.

Now that my renovation is complete, I’m very thankful to have had Si Ming throughout this journey. From the start, he took time to understand how I live, what I like, and my budget, and was always patient in explaining options, which gave me a lot of reassurance. Communication was smooth and consistent—he kept me updated regularly, handled issues calmly, and often went the extra mile beyond his job scope. Design-wise, he struck a great balance between warmth, simplicity, and practicality, with workmanship that stayed true to what was planned. Even after completion, Si Ming continued to check in, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a designer who genuinely cares.

We engaged Starry Homestead for our kitchen renovation and a TV cabinet for our 5-room HDB, and we are very happy with the outcome. We already had a vision in mind, and our ID Darren meticulously guided us through the design details according to our lifestyle needs and aesthetic wants. We were overseas for part of the renovation and were grateful to have Darren overseeing everything on our behalf, giving us peace of mind with regular updates. One thing we truly valued was Darren’s responsiveness and ownership of the project. From our first interaction, he has been extremely responsive, often replying on WhatsApp within minutes and always offering solutions.

I was assigned to ID Thomson for consultation on my upcoming renovation needs, and he has been prompt and responsive throughout the process. Discussions and quotation run-throughs were always on time, and he provided valuable insights and design ideas. He even went the extra mile to share additional information when needed, despite me not signing with them. Ultimately, I did not proceed due to costing concerns and personal budget issues. Thomson gives a trustworthy impression, and I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
